The 100 Club

When I first started recording individual trees -- logging them in my GPS and tagging them with a unique number -- I set a threshold of at least 60 inches in diameter.  (ie: your fingers will just touch if you wrap your arms around the tree)

It didn't take long to realize that I had a problem ... too many trees were candidates and I'd never get thru the first pass.  Bump it up to 70 inches ... nope, still too many.

So we're at 80 inches and I just passed 100 entries.

And every once in a while, my tape creeps up past the 8 foot mark as I'm measuring a beauty.  She gets an extra big hug and joins the '100 Club'.
